Philosophy Club
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW UNTIL WE ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

WHAT IS THIS CLUB?
MISSION
WHAT WE DO
COMMUNITY
HOW IT WORKS
We want to provide students with a sense of direction in life by giving them a space to discuss philosophy
We hold meetings once a week to discuss topics that we find interesting
Each meeting starts with a prompt, be it a video, article, quote, or image, and the discussion stems from there
We showcase our work through our monthly podcast and hosting TED-style talks, whose profit goes to charity

WHY DID WE MAKE THIS CLUB?
The second semester of thenth grade, the students who funded this club were going through what we referred to as a "life crisis." One of us had no motivation to do schoolwork. Another did schoolwork and got excellent grades but wondered if those grades even meant anything. Another wondered if mankind in general mattered at all. So we made what we called a "Life Crisis Support Group" chat on Facebook.

The idea evolved and we decided to expand it to a school club, then into a philosophy club.
